At nearly 550 square feet, our apartment is sizeable by Parisian standards, and can comfortably house four guests. The apartment is furnished with a mix of contemporary and antique furnishings. The walls are decorated with a growing collection of original early 20th century oil paintings of Paris landmarks. The bedroom alone is the size of most Paris hotel rooms and is furnished with a queen-size bed. The kitchen is large enough to prepare a gourmet dinner while watching the lights of the Eiffel Tower trace a path across the sky. The bathroom is designed for both showering and bathing—not a common arrangement in traditionally tiny Parisian bathrooms. The balcony, stretching the full width of the séjour, is one of the apartment's highlights. It is an ideal spot for people-watching, enjoying a simple meal, reading a book in the sunshine or sipping a glass of champagne before dinner. The séjour has a double-size sleep sofa of the very highest quality. The bedroom and séjour are located at opposite ends of the apartment and are joined by the long hallway. The entry to the apartment, the kitchen and the bathroom open onto this hallway. The result is that two couples can share the apartment with complete privacy while also enjoying access to all the apartment's amenities.
