Meet Gary & Doug
A second home in Paris happens when you idly window shop (lèche-vitrines or "lick windows" as the French call it) when passing by a Parisian real estate office.
We purchased our apartment in a dilapidated state. So we rolled up our sleeves and completed all the work ourselves, except for a new kitchen and bathroom. A few years later—older and a bit wiser—we completely renovated everything again with the help of expert local craftsmen trained in authentically restoring older buildings. We are proud to share it with you as the ideal choice for your Paris vacation short-term rental apartment.
We usually visit three times a year to buy antique jewelry, silver and Art Deco barware for our business, Kensington House Antiques, and to visit friends and favorite restaurants. Difficult as it is to step away from the apartment and Batignolles, we nearly always find an excuse to hop a train or rent a car and discover some new part of the French countryside for a day or two.
We can't imagine being away from our second home for too long, and we know you'll share our feeling after experiencing it!
