The apartment easily accommodates one to four people with a queen-size bed in the bedroom and a luxury one-touch queen-size convertible sofa in the living room. The living room and bedroom are at opposite ends of the apartment's entry hall and both have access to the kitchen, bathroom and exit without disturbing those sleeping in the other room.
Yes, we provide essentials such as dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue to last at least a week. Guests often leave behind extra shampoo and other items, too. The cleaners dispose of perishable food between rentals, but there is usually a supply of basic herbs and spices, coffee, tea, and condiments. Lucky guests may even find an unopened bottle of wine! We do not provide electrical converters or plug adapters.
No. The apartment has windows facing in all four directions. Without doorstops, the doors often slam shut due to the breeze that passes through the apartment when the windows are open. For the very few weeks of the year when Paris is hot, we also provide two large electric fans.
We have welcomed many families with children. We do not have a playpen or bassinet, but can arrange for one at an extra fee. The apartment is furnished with period Art Deco antiques, Persian carpets, etc., No parent wants to worry constantly about their child when on vacation, so we ask only that guests be realistic about whether the apartment is the best environment for a young child.
Yes, we are located on a residential street without much traffic. The bedroom window opens onto an interior courtyard. The living room windows are double-glazed and have heavy curtains to block out sound from outside.
The building has an elevator and can accommodate a person using a walker, but not a wheelchair. The interior of the apartment is spacious enough to maneuver with a walker, as well. The walk-in shower has a 2" threshold and the balcony requires a step of about 8". The oven is at safe eye level.
The apartment is cleaned thoroughly by professional cleaners between each booking. This of course, includes dusting, vacuuming, cleaning the kitchen and bath with bleach-based products, and professionally-laundered linens.
Yes. There are four Metro stations on four different lines within about a five-minute walk. These stations are on a major east-west line, a major north-south line, and the automated express line. There are also many stops on about a dozen different bus lines within a five-minute walk.

Yes, the apartment is within a 5-minute walk of four Métro stations, including a stop of the express line #14.; eleven daytime bus lines; and three all-night bus lines. We are located a 5-minute walk from Gare Pont Cardinet, which serves the Château de Versailles, and 10-minute walk for Gare St-Lazare, which serves Monet's home at Giverny and other destinations in Normandy.
The apartment is about halfway along an imaginary line drawn between the Arc de Triomphe and Sacré-Coeur. It's a leisurely 35-minute walk to any point along the avenue des Champs-Elysées from the Arc de Triomphe to the Jardin des Tuileries.
Yes, very. It's the sort of neighborhood where children kick soccer balls unattended in the square facing the mairie and where you can feel comfortable going for a late-night walk.
Yes, Batignolles and the adjoining quartiers have excellent restaurants ranging from Michelin-starred establishments to a local walk-up joint repeatedly named as "France's best kebab stand." If you prefer to cook in, Batignolles is home to Paris' largest weekly outdoor organic market, an easy walk from two other daily market streets, and filled with innumerable specialty stores.

We require a 5-night minimum stay. Arrivals and departures can be any day of the week. Shorter stays can sometimes be accommodated if they happen to fall into a period between two other rentals.
There are no taxes. There is a professional cleaning fee of $150 added to each rental, regardless of duration. Guests staying for longer periods may request additional cleanings during their stay for $150 each. There is also a refundable $400 security deposit.
We accept payment by VISA, MasterCard, American Express, check or wire transfer. All transactions are conducted in U.S. dollars.
Your first payment, equal to half of the rental fee, is due at the time of reservation. The rental balance and the cleaning fee are due six weeks prior to arrival. The refundable security is due one week prior to arrival.
Rental fees are fully refundable up to 10 weeks (70 days) prior to your planned arrival date. Cancellations less than 10 weeks (70 days), but more than 6 weeks (42 days) before your stay qualify for a 50% refund of the entire rental fee. Cancellations 6 weeks (42 days) or less in advance are not eligible for a refund of the rental fee. We always try to rebook the apartment with other guests for all or a portion of your original period, and when that works out, we are happy to issue a full or partial refund.
